Encouraging young minds to think about themselves and others, learn about being kind, and appreciate each other's differences.
YWCA Jamestown's BookMARK is a program developed for school-aged children to:
-
learn about the diversity in their community and the world.
-
promote reading and storytelling as a learning tool.
-
build awareness of the issues faced by other children their age.
-
discover their boundaries and appreciate others' boundaries.
-
create a safer and supportive space.
