The YWCA Community Health Awareness Team (CHAT) provides programs designed to empower young people to make healthy decisions for their reproductive health. We believe that young people deserve to be given the knowledge and skills necessary to make the best choices for their future.
Introducing the newest segment of YWCA Jamestown's Broadscast Podcast, "Teen Talk"
YWCA Jamestown is excited to announce a new opportunity for area teens to let their voices be heard...over the WRFA-LP airwaves! In conjunction with with YWCA Jamestown "Broadscast" there will be a new "Teen Talk" segment, where teens will be the creative force behind the conversations and/or participate as guest speakers and share their stories!
Alix Sandberg(Pictured second from the left) is a Peer Health Educator for YWCA Jamestown CHAT program who will be hosting Teen Talk and inviting local teens to share their perspectives on issues unique to the teen experience.

Good news! CHAT is currently offering 2-5 internship hours per week for youth ages 15 - 21!
Whether you're interested in youth healthcare, creating social media content, or something else entirely, we would love to give you the freedom to pursue a subject you're passionate about.
